Clad Technologies offers a wide variety of
cladded wear plates made by the Submerged Arc process. This process is a unique blend of
Weld Wire, Alloy Powder, and Flux fused to a mild steel backing plate. Each
type has been specially formulated for different applications:

105 A Medium Chromium Carbide plate for applications involving heavy impact with abrasion. |
|
115 A high Chromium Carbide plate for applications where abrasion is the predominate wear factor and impact is not severe. |

215 A high Chromium Carbide plate specifically formulated for both abrasion and impact. Exceeds abrasive wear better that Grade 115 |
|
415 A Complex Carbide plate for severe applications where Grade 215 is not sufficient to impede wear. |
|
515 A Complex Carbide plate for applications involving severe abrasion under high temperatures. |
