Increasing the mechanical parameters of the overlay process also has an effect on the corrosion resistance. By increasing either the TRAVEL SPEED or ELECTRICAL STICKOUT will decrease the corrosion rates. This is again related to the heat of the overlay as discussed in previous slides.
